BJ Rossi has been a working performer since he was a mere lad of nine. There is a special distinction that comes with being a professional in any field. Mr. Rossi defines professional drummer.

BJ was a performance major at the Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO and University of Colorado in Denver. His quest for knowledge included time under the tutelage of Buddy Rich and a recent wood shedding session with Simon Kirke of "Free" and "Bad Company" fame. He learns by teaching as percussion instructor with the Palen Music School in Springfield MO.

After all is said, B.J. Rossi is a player. BJ and Clay are alumni of the late great Don Shipps' Titanic Blues Band. Mr. Rossi's credits include stints with "Sons of the Pioneers”, Tanya Tucker, Michael Grear, David Frizzell, Dave Dudley, Dean T. Hall, Nelson Riddle, Pat Williams, Bo Diddley, Sarah Baker; local bands and dinner theaters. He is a recording artist too playing on soundtracks and CD's for music ranging from big band, Blues, Country, Rock and Roll, and R&B. Now of course, BJ is recording the next CD, which should be ready by February.
